She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wood and Eva Wood (Bern); her son James; her husband Marlen Anderson; her son Steven Anderson; her granddaughter Bethany Anderson; her great grandchildren, Jaston Dawson and Michael Allen; her siblings, Clifford and Lovey; her son-in-law James Johnson; and her close friend David Fruechte.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri, Mark Anderson of Elkton, SD, Julie Dendinger (Dean) of Hartington, NE, Timothy Anderson (Karla) of Elkton, SD, Tony Anderson (Susan) of Christiansburg, VA, Reva Masiero (Tony) of Casper, WY, Ronald Anderson (Denise) of Phoenix, AZ and Kristi Palecek (Lance) of Yankton, SD; her sister Zoe Looper (Al) of Southgate, CA; and her sister-in-law Sandra Anderson. She is also survived by 44 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Elkton Chapel (217 Elk St, Elkton, SD 57026). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Parish of Elkton (710 Cornell Ave, Elkton, SD 57026).
