We bid farewell to Susan G. Herrity of Elk Point, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Susan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Hansen and Mildred Hansen; her brother Oscar Duane "Dewey" Hansen Ill; her sister-in-law Victoria Hansen; and her mother-in-law Anna Herrity.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick Herrity; her stepmother Edna Hansen of Canton, SD; her sister Jill Groth (James) of Valley Springs, SD; her children, Roanne Johnson (David) of Northfield, MN, John Herrity (Julie) of Windsor, CO, Mitchell Herrity (Tracy Keating) and Daniel Herrity (Ashley) of Elk Point, SD; and her grandchildren, Claire, Eann, Elleanora Johnson, Andrew Flynn, Alexis Burma, Sydney, Ryan Herrity, Carter, Jacob, Miles Herrity, Wyatt and Alexandria Herrity. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (605 E Main St, Elk Point, SD 57025). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
