He was predeceased by: his father Harold Thoms; his half-sister Twila Mills; and his niece Lindsey Shemek. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Thoms (Vrana) of Elk Point; his wife Noreen Braun of Elk Point; his children, Alex Thoms of Sioux City, Amber Lindsey (Brandon) of Havana, Fla., Alyssa of Elk Point, Christina of Elk Point and Racheal Thoms of Elk Point; his sister Carol Kirchman (Elrich) of Athens; and his grandchildren, Zofia and Mila Thoms-Martin of Estherville, Iowa. He is also survived by several brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
