It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Ramona Starr of Elk Point, South Dakota, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husbands, George Crawford and Leonard Bye; her husband Charles Starr Jr.; and her siblings, Richard Matz (Bub) and Sheila Mehrer.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Crawford (Taresa), Bruce Duerksen (Laura) of Sioux City, IA, Brenda K. Crawford of Sioux Falls and Rita Allen of Watertown, SD. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
