It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Leo Guimond (Elk Point, South Dakota), born in Tracy, Minnesota, who passed away on January 13, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Guimond and Elsie Guimond; his former wife Morene Guimond; his son Paul Guimond; and his siblings, Ruth Carrol and Dennis Guimond.
He is survived by: his spouse Morene Haney; his children, Angie Sims (Todd) of Portland, OR, Shelley Krohn of Phoenix, AZ and Greg Gunderson (Christa) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Allison Sims, Jessica Hines, Joe Krohn, Nicole Krohn Carlisle, Hannah Gunderson and Camille Gunderson; his great grandchildren, Ameliah Carlisle and Ryder Carlisle; and his siblings, Mary Olson of New Prague, MN, David Guimond of Bloomington, MN, Francis Guimond of Warrenton, VA and James Guimond of New Prague, MN. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
