He is survived by: his children, Kevin Kleihauer of Elk Point, SD, Sarah Mormann (Dean) of Bloomfield, NE and Mary Kleihauer of Hawarden, IA; his siblings, Gordon Kleihauer (Rita) of Akron, IA and Audrey Hubner (Bob) of Pipestone, MN; his brother-in-law Ron Thompson of Sioux City, IA; and his aunts, Donna Kleihauer of Le Mars, IA and Lois Cotton of Rantoul, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
