It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn L Hanson of Elk Point, South Dakota, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Carpenter and Bertha Carpenter; her husband Thomas Hanson; her son Gary; and her son-in-law Greg Guillaume.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Abild (Dick), Geri Leone (Nick), Marie Guillaume, Linda Sparks (Bill) and Gloria Miller. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
