It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Arthur Brandon of Elk Point, South Dakota, who passed away on May 18, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Brandon and LaVonne Brandon; his former wife Nancy Meis; his parents-in-law, Bud and Mary Jane Meis; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Ryan and Paul Wray; and his niece Kathy Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Brandon of Elk Point, SD; his children, Christopher Brandon (Jen) of Spencer, IA, Patrick Brandon (Christina) of Jefferson, SD, Cora Hines (Chuck) of Huron, SD and Jordan Brandon (Noele) of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Dallas, Jewel, Justice, Dyllan Brandon, Logan, Audrie Brandon, Sean and Payge Schimdt; his sister Julie Ryan; and his siblings-in-law, Jo Trobaugh, Carol Ellington (Duke), Joyce Wray, Mary Cerwick (Fred), Karen Pottebaum (Tim), Mike Hasenbank, Bo Groethe, David Groethe (Darcy), Roger Meis (Lynn) and Steve Meis (Patti). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
