He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Hind and Alice Hind (Davis); his daughter Beven Vanasse; and his brother Ronald Hind. He is survived by: his wife Verna Hind of Inman, Kansas; his children, Debbie Bailey (Robert) of McPherson, Jeff Hind (Katherine) of Sioux Falls and Carmon Penner (Don) of Inman, Kansas; his son-in-law Greg Vanasse (Nancy) of Delano, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Bryon Bailey (Lindsie), Derick Bailey (JoAnn), Allison Vanasse Gullbenkian (Eddie), Luke Vanasse (Amy), Cassandra Vanasse Dale (Dustin), Amelia Vanasse Deveroux (Sean), Kiah Vanasse, Damon Vanasse, Felicia Hind Stout (Jesse), Rebecca Hind Bolinger (Jason), Joseph Hind (Katy), Josiah Hind (Maydee), Cody Deneke (Magen), Shawna Penner Ediger (Ethan), Brendon Penner, Jerad Penner and Kylee Penner. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
