With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Buell Redden of Edgemont, South Dakota, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Redden and Arleta Redden (Mackey); his brother Lyle Redden; his children, Gayle Skramstad, Brian and Theresa; his nephews, Lee Metcalf, Kyle Redden and Robert Redden; and his niece Dawn Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Eckert (Roger) of Rockerville, SD, Bernie Redden (Dianne) of Fairfax, IA and Chuck Redden of Hill City, SD; and his siblings, Mildred Clark of Casper, WY, Virgil Redden (Geri) of Westchester, OH, Donald Redden of Rapid City, Audrey Smith of Norton, TX, Alice Pierce of Superior, AZ, Betty Metcalf (Jim) of Kamiah, ID, Roger Redden (Dawn) of Faulkton, SD and Gary Redden of Edgemont, SD.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Church (401 4th Ave, Edgemont, SD 57735). A burial will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
