Verona Knebel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2023, at the age of 101, Verona Knebel of Eden, South Dakota, born in Langford, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Schroeder and Emma T. Schroeder (Greger); her husband Robert P. Knebel; her friends, Mary Dunn, Vivian, Elmer Steiner, Chery Neuberger and Eden; her sons, Paul and Robert; and her siblings, Lorene Ruecker, Roberta Schroeder (Norman Jodice) and Donald Schroeder.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Gowan of Watertown, SD, Neil Knebel (Lorrie) of Watertown, SD and Donald Knebel (Dawn) of Buda, TX; and her friend Mike. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
She sewed hundreds of blankets and loved to donate them or give one to a special family member or friend.
