He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Opitz and Agnes Opitz (Keintz); his siblings, Norbert, Luvern, Fidelis, Abigail, Mary Ann and Delores; his wife Rosa Lee Opitz; his daughters, Claudette Opitz and Rita Opitz; and his granddaughter Danielle.
