We bid farewell to Taylor Vance Bald of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Taylor Vance touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Bald Eagle Sr. and Zola White Feather; his daughter Sharon Naomi Bald Eagle; and his siblings, Dave, Enoch, Buster Bald Eagle, Violet Brave Heart and Phyllis Bald Eagle.
He is survived by: his children, Taylor Bald Eagle III, Lenny Bald Eagle and Frank Waters; his grandchildren, Taylor IV, Eugene, Nolan, Precious Bald Eagle, Max Blacksmith and Alyssa Bearing; and his brother Curtis Bald Eagle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A procession was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the CRST Bingo Hall (916-934 Jefferson St, Eagle Butte, SD 57625). A wake was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
