It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Garter of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sarah leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
A procession will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg Has (502 E Commercial Ave, Gettysburg, SD 57442). A wake will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM at the same location.
