It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Eaglestaff of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Dupris (Molly) and Floyd Annis (Ford); her son Robert Bruce; her grandchildren, Jessica Lee and Rodney H. Martin; and her siblings, Eugenia Lucille Jean Burgee (Annis), Jennie Elizabeth Hunt (Annis), Delbert Frederick Annis (Bud) and David Everett Annis (Fat).
She is survived by: her children, Darrel, Bill, Thomas Ray (Etheleen), Donna Jean (Darrell Duane), Billy Dean (Barbara) and Suzanne Faye (Hunka'); her grandchildren, Thomas C, Megan Rae, Francis E Eaglestaff, Ryan, Robert Martin, Gage, Salacia Jewett, Shanae, Scott Jetty, Stacey, Robin, Louis Eaglestaff, Dara Eaglestaff-Brewer, Turquoise Eaglestaff, Brian Thunder Hawk, Corey James, Lance C and Wanbli Eaglestaff; and also Franda Flying Man. She is also survived by great grandchildren and 1-great-great grandchild.
