It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald W. Metcalf of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John and Bertha Hump; his parents, Stanley Metcalf and Charlotte Metcalf (Garfield); his brother Francis Metcalf; his daughter Shilo Metcalf; and his niece MaryLou Little Star.

He is survived by: his sisters, Marlene Little Star and Laura High Bear; his daughter Dawn Metcalf (Tina); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac, Samuel and Shiloh Detert. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and good friends.
