He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Janis Shooter and Josephine Chasing Hawk; his wife Autumn Dion of Lake Andes; his grandsons, Alex and Josh; his daughter Heather Shooter; his sister Eunice Hollow Horn; his sons, Alex and Josh Shooter; his nieces and nephews, Jacob, Joshua Shooter, Cameron, Marcus Jr., Sylis, Syrus, Mason, Soloman Hollow Horn, Lanice Shooter-Miner and Jennifer Shooter; his grandchildren, Dorice and Ashton Reynolds; his niece Simone Traversie; his brother Leslie Boyd Shooter; his stepfather Lawrence Crow; and his son Roland Shooter, Jr.. He was also cherished by his nephews, sister and mother.
A procession was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church. A wake was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
