It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Freda Martin of Dupree, South Dakota, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen A Cooper and Emma Cooper (Kenstler); her husband Arthur R. Martin; her son David; and her siblings, John, Ted, Art and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Humble (Bruce) of Faith, SD; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Martin (Wes Escott) of Faith, SD; her grandchildren, Blaine Humble of Faith, SD, Jeremiah Martin of Mason, NC, Melitta Bonnet (Ron) of Whitewood, SD and Alyssa Kopren (Wade) of Bison, SD; her great grandchild Landon Schultes of Faith, SD; and her granddaughters, Kaitlyn Dupris, Bailee Birkeland and Liberty Schultes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; many relatives, friends, and neighbors.
A memorial has been established to the Dupree Fire Department.
