He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Rankin (Vik) and Harold Rankin; his siblings, Karla Abernathy and Joseph; and his sister-in-law Susie Rankin.
He is survived by: his brother Ron; and his aunts and uncles, Eleanor Miller, Ray (Shirley Vik), Melva Vik (Jim) and Gail Anshutz. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
