He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Woodring and Eva Woodring (Grandpre); his sisters, Virginia Wolf and Ardis Wolf; his son Daryl Woodring; and his pet Tobi.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Rasmussen (Rick), Deb Hersch (Dave), Dwight Woodring, Doris Deming (Larry), Doug Woodring (Gloria) and David Woodring (Robin); and his sisters, Wilda Alexander and Doris Harshman.
It was his wishes that no funeral was to be had and that he was to be donated for medical purposes to the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, then cremated and have a celebration of his life.
