He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer E. Hiles and Margaret Hiles (Walth); his mother-in-law Lorene Fortin; and his siblings, Luverne, Ronald, Ernie, Harley, Don Hiles, Ardean and Elaine.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Fortin of Doland; his daughters, Angelia Hiles of Aberdeen and Andrea Hiles; his grandchildren, Makiya and Blayken of Ellendale, ND; his daughter Adrianne Meyer (Jason); his grandchildren, Hadlyn of Sioux Falls, Macey of Sioux Falls and Creyton of Sioux Falls; his brother Milo Hiles (Deborah) of Turton, SD; his sons, Brandon Wenholm, Jarod Rahm and Mike Lerew; and his sisters-in-law, Mary, Donna and Nancy Hiles.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials in his memory given to help cover funeral expenses.
