We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2022, at the age of 84, Melvin Schlimgen of Dimock, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence 'Dick' and Regina Schlimgen (Kurtenbach). He is survived by: his children, Donna Hepper (Greg) of Huron, SD, Ken Schlimgen (JoAnn) of Mitchell, SD, Doug Schlimgen (Betty) of Dimock, SD, Paul Schlimgen (Andrea) of Arvada, CO, Darla Tassler (Doug) of Vermillion, SD, Dale Schlimgen of Sioux Falls, SD and Ron Schlimgen (Cindy) of Shell Rock, IA; and his siblings, William Schlimgen, Elaine Sullivan and Janice Scheel. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Sts. Peter and Paul Church Cemetery Board.
