It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Stanley of DeSmet, South Dakota, born in Garden City, South Dakota, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Bachman and Rose Bachman (Alt); her husband Everett Stanley; her brother Melvin Bachman; and her sons, Dale and Dennis Stanley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Hieb (Terry) of Mellette, Doris Poppen (Duane) of Aberdeen and Dianne Karber of Bancroft; her daughters-in-law, Arlene and Patti; her brother Laverne Bachman (Ada) of Clarkston; and her sister-in-law Evie Bachman of Watertown.
