He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Weisser and Adeline Weisser (Lehr); his former wife Karen (Herr); his stepchildren, Loren Schelling and Sheryl Schelling; and his brother Howard Weisser.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Weisser (Schelling) of Tripp, SD; his stepchildren, Lee Schelling (Rhonda) of Brandon, SD, Sheila Samsel (Mike) of Brandon and Sarah Neugebauer (Russell) of Tripp; his brother Roland Weisser (Orgenia) of West Bend, WI; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Weisser of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
