She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Dewald and Emilie Dewald (Heinrich); her husbands, Edgar Freier and John K. Tiede; and her siblings, Gertie Hieb, Phyllis Brosz, Eunice Dewald, Alice Dewald, Olivia Vetter and Ray Dewald.
She is survived by: her son Elwyn Freier (Marilynn) of Greeley, Colorado; her grandchildren, Jake Freier (April) of Greeley, Colorado, Anne Freirose (Krissy) of Greeley, Colorado, Mazlyn, Braeden and Isaiah; and her sister Gladys Schmidt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
