With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald E Bitterman (Delmont, South Dakota), who passed away on November 22, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Bitterman and Martha Bitterman (Ruff) of Delmont, SD; his wife Clara Bitterman; his siblings, Martha Edna Bitterman and Delbert Bitterman; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Berndt, Wilfred Schempp and Lorraine Schempp.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Bitterman (Steph) of Huron and Ron Bitterman (Kristi) of Mitchell; his brother Dale Bitterman (Terri) of Parkston; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Bitterman (Delbert) of Delmont and Eunice Berndt (Norman) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by three granddaughters; two step-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter and six step-great-grandchildren.
