With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Trygstad of Dell Rapids, South Dakota, who passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Melford Trygstad, George and Mildred Connor. He is survived by: his father Gaylon Trygstad (Nancy) of Dell Rapids; his former spouse Laurie Becvar; his wife Sarah of Dell Rapids; his children, Elizabeth, Jessica of Sioux Falls, Elliott and Gavin of Dell Rapids; his mother Linda Lesselyoung (Mike) of Madison; his grandmother Wilma Trygstad; his brother Eric Trygstad (Karen) of Nunda; his nephews, Bennet, Brandon and Isaac; his niece Julia; and his stepsiblings, Ann Kueter (Ryan) of Sioux Falls, Keith Johnson (Kerrie) of Becker, MN, Dustin Johnson (Kelli) of Sioux Falls and Tyler Johnson of Dell Rapids. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.

The family prefers memorials in lieu of flowers to help with expenses.
