Richard Gannon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Gannon of Dell Rapids, South Dakota, who passed away on September 16, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Gannon and Delia Gannon (Day); and his brothers, Lawrence, Donald and George.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Van Dam of Dell Rapids; his children, Renae Mergen (Tom) of Dell Rapids, Kim Bunkers (John) of Dell Rapids, Rodney Gannon of Rochester, MN and Paul Gannon (Tammy) of Dell Rapids; his grandchildren, Kelly Mergen (Jenni), Katie Abraham (Heath), Eric Mergen (Morgan), Rane Mergen (Aneta), Chris Bunkers (Ashlee), Caitlin Bunkers, Colby Bunkers (Kaitlin), Rich Gannon (Kayla), Luke Gannon, Tyler Gannon and Cody Gannon (DJ); his siblings, Eugene Gannon of Des Moines, IA, Gerald Gannon (Deb) of Worthing and Donna Entringer (John Nelson) of Sioux Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Singer of Falcon Heights, MN and Julie Abrahamson of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
