He is survived by: his wife Joan of Mitchell; his daughters, Paulette Hohn (Steve) of Parkston, Kay Long (Todd) of Mitchell, Karen VanZee (Bob) of Parkston and Jarilyn Mahoney (James) of Parkston; and his sister Marie Roemen (Ervin) of Dell Rapids. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
