With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Kriens (Dell Rapids, South Dakota), who passed away on December 5, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kriens and Elizabeth Kriens (Riley); his wife Kathryn Louise Welbig; and his siblings, Max, Herb, Tim Kriens and Betty Stangeland.
He is survived by: his children, David Kriens of Dell Rapids, Sharon Nicholas (Harold) of Harrisburg, NC, Joan Amundson (Alan) of Colton, Jean Gilmore (Mike) of Dell Rapids, Karen Johnson (Wayne) of Sioux Falls and Terry Kriens (Barb) of Dell Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Bud Welbig (Colleen) of Dell Rapids and Lynn Marie Welbig of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
