She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schmidt and Margaret Schmidt; her husband Ron Velde; and her brother Melvin Schmidt. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Lorraine Schmidt; and her nieces and nephews, Janet Perteet, Martin Perteet II, Nicole Perteet, Michelle Perteet, Nathan Perteet, Lorri, Greg Lucas (Alex Lucas), Raymond, Sherri Schmidt, Mackenzie Schmidt (Tyson Allen), Tanner Schmidt, Vicki, Vince Meiergerd (Ben Meiergerd) and Harvey Schmidt. She is also survived by cousins and many dear friends.
