She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Merlyn Godber and Blaine Halls; and her parents-in-law, Mike Rice and Jo Rice. She is survived by: her parents, Bob Halls and Terri Halls (Godber) of Hot Springs, SD; her husband David Rice; her children, Cara Rice of Vermillion, SD, Logan Davidson of Sioux Falls, SD, Desmond Rice of Ft. Dodge, IA and Emily Miles of Dell Rapids, SD; her brother Ryan Halls of Lemmon, SD; her grandmothers, Janice Cleland of Rapid City, SD and Myrna Halls of Hot Springs, SD; her sister-in-law Karla Heyduk (Dan) of White River, SD; and her brother Duane Rice (Tamara) of Flandreau, SD.
