She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard "Ed" Hoyt and Virginia Hoyt (Lockwood); and her husband Cliff. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Pickard (Eve) of Dell Rapids, Paul Pickard of Bruce, Ivan Pickard (Amy) of Plymouth, MN and Sarah Pickard of Miami, FL; her grandchildren, Misha (Cameron), Miriam, Gage, Micah, Kirtianna, Cassie and Janna; her siblings, Donald Hoyt (Patty), Gary Hoyt (Deb), Karen Barrett (David), Judy Dumont (Jay), Fred and Karen Burns of Brookings; her niece Kayla Helder (Ethan); and her nephew Nathaniel Burns (Brianna).
