He is survived by: his wife Clara of Dell Rapids; his children, Patrick Schreier of Rosemount, MN, Noreen Abrahamson (Jerry) of Omaha, NE, James (Christine) of Fargo, ND, Timothy (Paula) of Dell Rapids, SD and Jeffrey (Jodie) of Moorhead, MN; and his grandchildren, Colleen Schreier, Diana Schreier, Jared Abrahamson (Kelsey), Elyse Abrahamson, Jocelyn Abrahamson, Emily Schroeder (Jon), Meghan Schreier, Abby Gregersen (Robert), Jacob Schreier (Trystan) and Zacharey Schreier. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
