We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2023, at the age of 89, Donna Jean Pola of Dell Rapids, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Floyd H. Budde and Clara Budde (Schmidt); her former husband William S. Crain (Stan); and her husband Richard Pola. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Story Book Island in Rapid City and St. Mary Catholic Schools in Dell.

“I met Donna only once while at Blessed Sacrament Church at Veneration during Easter week several years ago. She was in the pew next to me. I asked her questions about the event. She was so kind, explained things, taking my hand as we went to the cross together. I thought of her often but never knew her name until I saw her pic on the obit! I know her 'family' are feeling a huge loss. She touched my life for a few brief moments but I'll remember her always. My deepest sympathy to all of you.”
