He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar Simonsen and Emma Simonsen (Sievert); and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Karen Simonsen; and his children, Dawn Farr (Terry), Douglas Simonsen (Jodi), David Simonsen (Laura), Debra Stoeckman (Scott) and Dyan Nelson (Kevin).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home-Dell Rapids (104 E 4th St, Dell Rapids, SD 57022).
