He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Osterhout (Smith) and Marcus Osterhout; his brothers, George, Jeff and John; and his brothers-in-law, David Nelson and David Lorbecki.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sister Nancy Lorbecki; and his children, Deb Gross (Jan) of Dell Rapids, Darren Osterhout (Ann) of Sasebo, Dwayne Osterhout (Ngoc) of Navarre and Doug Osterhout (Jennifer) of Bath, Maine.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, many nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.
