She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Meiers and Marion L. Meiers (Engler); her husband Mervin G. Bye; and her siblings, LaVelle, Lauren, Arnold, Laurene, Glenn, Junior, LeRoy and Maureen Hassan.
She is survived by: her children, Norman of Silt, CO, Pam (Joe Nemmers) of Trent, SD and Kurt of Dell Rapids, SD.; her grandchildren, Roman Nemmers of Dell Rapids, SD, Noah Nemmers of Trent, SD and Morgan Nemmers of Brookings, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Velma (LaVelle) and Sylvia (Lauren). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
