It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline Ellis (Dell Rapids, South Dakota), born in Montrose, South Dakota, who passed away on October 10, 2018, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Eichhorn and Clara Eichhorn (Wittrock); her husbands, Roy and Walt; her children, Don and Virginia; her siblings, Bernard, Cora and Donetta; and her grandchildren, Darrel Dickey, Roger Dickey, Jeff Ellis and Dawn VanderVege (Dickey).
She is survived by: her children, Donald, Maxine Gunderson and Duane Ellis (Bonnie); her children-in-law, Bob Graham and Sharon Ellis; and her stepson David Ellis (Joy). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren; 3 special nieces and one special nephew.
