It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bjarne Rolf Tonneson of Dell Rapids, South Dakota, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Birger Tonneson and Ragna Tonneson; and his siblings, Sylvia Helgeson, Gerd Olson, Violet Brewer and Carl.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Oppold of Harrisburg, SD.; and his children, Lon (Kathy), James (Pam), Larry (Virginia), Todd (Julie) and Ann Sittig (Bob). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren with another great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
