It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Johanna Watson of Dell Rapids, South Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Byllesby and Henrietta Byllesby (VanDerMeer); her husband Charles Watson; and her siblings, Phyllis Hiler and Richard Byllesby.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Watson of St Louis Park, MN, Thomas Watson (McKenzie), Mary Watson of Colorado Springs, CO and Lisa Hochhalter (Barry); her grandchildren, Carter, Austin, Mackenzie, Pyper, Caden and Quincy; her siblings, William (Doreen Byllesby) of High Point, NC, Rosemary (Robert Ostrander) of Hattiesburrg, MS and Joan Miller of Hastings, MN; and her sister-in-law Sharon Byllesby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be directed to the Lighthouse Ministry at the church.
