It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avor B. Boeve of Dell Rapids, South Dakota, born in Rock Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 27, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Boeve and Hattie Boeve (Kracht); his former wife Phyllis Watters; and his siblings, Jenny, Richard, John, Albert and Pearl Schomaker.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Mersch (Watters); his daughter Barb Redinger (Larry) of Corvallis, OR; his stepdaughters, Kathy Bolt (Mike), Diane Bunkers (Jeff) and Debra Mergen (Doug); his grandchildren, Ricky Redinger, Rachelle Hiestand (Justin), Chad Gerdes (Karen), Amy Lahr (Kelly), Cj Park, Cody Bunkers (Danielle), Summer Klein (Billy), Trevor Mergen (Cassie) and Mariah Mergen; and his friends, Marvin Albers of Hills, MN and Joe Thornell. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; sister-in-law.
