As we bid Thomas Gerard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Thomas Gerard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Fischer; his sons, John and Steve; and his siblings, Mark and Susan.
A prayer was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St Ambrose Catholic Church (760 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lead Deadwood Baseball Association in Tom's memory.
