He was predeceased by: his parents, John Essink and Fern Essink; his son Jeff; his sisters, Mary Hemminger and Opal Sprague; his daughter-in-law Teddi; and his stepdaughter Cindy.
He is survived by: his parent-in-law Pat Webster (Moore); his wife Penny; his children, Dan Essink (Michelle) and Lisa Kitzmiller (Mike); his daughter-in-law Sherry Essink; his stepchildren, Deb Tridle (John), Russ Webster (Kay) and Belinda Rovere (Scott); and his sister-in-law Mary Hedlund (Ryan). He is also survived by grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews.
