He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin S. Hicks and Bonnie B. McNeil; his stepparents, Duane Ellis and Margery Hicks; and his brother-in-law Wayne Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stevenson; his sons, Christopher Radigan (Tracy) of Lancaster, CA, Spencer Bash (Jessica) of Long Prairie, MN and Sammy Hicks (Hope) of Rapid City, SD; and his siblings, Connie Pirtle (Richard), Peggy Morris of Sioux Falls, SD, Dan Hicks (Tammy) of Aberdeen, SD and Scott Hicks (Judy Carroll) of Redfield, SD. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
