He is survived by: his wife Roxana Hull; his children, De Smet, Beth Poppen of De Smet, SD, Brett Poppen (Megan) of Rapid City, SD and Amy Beardt (Brad) of Rapid City, SD; his sister Mary Ricker (Walt); his stepsiblings, Glennis Lundberg (Barry) and David Nelson (Kay); his grandchildren, Pearl, Penny Poppen, Jaxon and Reagan Beardt; and his nieces and nephews, Danny, Garrick, Ethan Nicols, Alexis Hull, Jenny Berg, Kari Rich, Gina Favaro, Jamila Gilbert, Chris, Greg Lundberg, Craig, Doug, Charles Johnson, Eric Nelson, Dawn Larsen, Glenda Odegaard, Teresa Jung and Annie Erwin.
