It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Schubloom of De Smet, South Dakota, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlyn Schubloom and Lena Schubloom (Sahm); and his parents-in-law, Arnold and Marie Pommer. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Pommer; and his children, Vicky Larson (Allan), Julie Schwader (Max) and Stuart Schubloom (Janelle). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one half-brother; as well as several nephews and nieces.
