It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl M. Coughlin of De Smet, South Dakota, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludolph Smith and Marion Smith (Paulson); her husband Louis LeVere; her son Joseph Coughlin; and her sister Gladys Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Susanne Albrecht (Brad) of Arlington, SD, James P. Coughlin (Debby) of Iroquois, SD, John Coughlin (Ralene) of De Smet, SD, Sheila Gummer (Monte) of Brookings, SD and Shelly Soukup of Reno, NV; her granddaughters, Chelsea Wipf and Victoria Albrecht; and her children, Lexi Johnson, Brittany Dixon, Alex Coughlin, Scott Coughlin, Ramie Coughlin, Andrew Coughlin, Kasy Surat, Bailey Fitzgerald, Mariah Gummer, Jacqueline Soukup, Jordan Soukup and Julia Soukup. She is also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
