It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lance Hildebrandt of De Smet, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 37, on February 13, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Lance shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lance farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dale, Marilynn Hildebrandt and Leland Sack. He is survived by: his parents, Alan Hildebrandt and Laura Hildebrandt (Sack); his brother Bubba Hildebrandt (Chelsea); his nieces, Blakely and Briar Hildebrandt; and his grandmother Joyce Sack. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the American Lutheran Church (411 4th St SW, De Smet, SD 57231). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to build up college funds for Lance's nieces who he adored, Blakely and Briar.
