It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Bjorkman (De Smet, South Dakota), who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Bjorkman and Betty Bjorkman. He is survived by: his wife Chris; his children, Matt Bjorkman (Trish), Nick Bjorkman (Kelsey) and Kassi MlCak (Marcus); his grandchildren, Trey, Ella Mlcak, Sutton and Beckett Bjorkman; and his siblings, Jim Bjorkman, Tacy Bressler (Dave) and Connie Bickett (Mike).

Services will be determined at a later date, due to Covid service recommendations.

“It saddened me greatly to hear of Mr. Bjorkman’s passing. He taught me in 6th grade at Roosevelt Elem in Watertown and I have very fond memories of him and that year. He was one of my all time favorite teachers. I was also honored to babysit for Matt and Nick a time or two before Kassi was born. My deepest sympathy for the family. -Shelly Swartz Leiblie”
